The SHIMA Association is composed of the following five categories of members:

Status Cost Details

Active $45.00 Any person who is actively employed as a Health Information Management professional (full time, part time or casual) in Saskatchewan who is registered with the Canadian College of Health Record Administrators and/or is a graduate of an approved Health Information Management program. Eligible to vote and hold executive office

Inactive $25.00
Any person who is not actively employed as a Health Information Management professional or a graduate of an approved Health Information Management program residing outside of Saskatchewan wishing to maintain membership with the SHIMA.

Associate $35.00 Any person who is not actively employed as a Health Information Management professional or is employed in a related field.

Student No Charge Students in Saskatchewan who are enrolled in a course approved by the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA).

Honorary No Charge Persons who meet the established criteria as outlined in the Bylaws.
